There is no denying that
Sedona, Arizona is a huge tourist destination. Its
towering red rock formations have made it a must see destination
since it first came on the tourist's "radar" in 1980. The town
and surrounding Coconion National Forest should be visited, whether you stay for a
night, or visit on a tour to Sedona
from another destination.
What is the best time to visit Sedona?
If you choose to stay for a night or a week,
we recommend the Spring and Fall seasons. Winter can be
blustery, and Phoenix
and Scottsdale can
be a welcome respite from the cold. Summer time temperatures
regularly exceed 100F (38C), and the
cool Summer breezes
of Flagstaff are more inviting. |
