Antelope Canyon photography native American tours

The stunning sandstone formations of Antelope Canyon are known worldwide. This narrow slot canyon is located in a remote section of the Navajo Nation and a favorite of visitors for its spectacular scenery and photo opportunities.  The tour takes you through Flagstaff and across Navajo lands with distant views of the Painted Desert cliffs as your guide provides information about the vast landscape and Native American culture.  A rest break will be made at the historic Cameron Trading Post where you’ll have an opportunity to shop for souvenirs and Native American crafts. Your first adventure is an easy 1.5-mile round trip hike to spectacular Horseshoe Bend overlook where the Colorado River makes a 270-degree meander approximately 1,000 feet below you.  Next, enjoy a delicious lunch before meeting up with a Navajo guide for your otherworldly excursion into Antelope Canyon. Learn about the geology of this uniquely sculpted canyon and get tips for photographing it as well. We’re sure this will be one of your most memorable journeys.
